mama, lifestyle photographer & co-owner of &honey
I’m a wife and stay-at-home “mumtreprenuer” to two beautiful girls. I’ve always dreamed of being a mum it’s my greatest adventure and proudest achievement. Pre mum life, I was a primary school teacher, and though I loved it, I’ve always had a strong pull towards birth and supporting women through that powerful journey. At high school I wanted to be a midwife, so I guess I was always destined to end up working in the birth space somehow, not that I ever imagined myself as a business owner!
Originally, my desire to become a midwife came from my love for babies. But I've realised that my passion was something deeper: the process of birth is so profound and miraculous, I wish every woman could experience it the way I have. I love birth, and I know that’s rare, but I truly believe it shouldn’t be. With the right tools, support, and mindset, every woman can approach birth with confidence.
I wear many hats but I wouldn’t have it any other way. When I'm not wrangling my little ones, packing orders, creating our social media content or behind the lens as a family and wedding photographer; you can probably find me watching Netflix (hello Friends), with a chai latte, baking or with a craft project on the go.
